Guided visits to the Alhambra and Granada
HOW TO VISIT THE ALHAMBRA WITH A TOUR GUIDE / AUDIO GUIDE
The visit to the Alhambra is not guided.
Since summer 2020 it is possible to hire directly a guide next to the ticket office. No information about contact or prices.
- Official Audioguide of the Alhambra (6€) NOT AVAILABLE
There is a sebsite with routes https://alh.gvam.es/recorridos
Official audioguide systems can be rented at the Alhambra. These are available at the Palace of Charles V and at the access pavilion at the Generalife.
There is also the possibility of advance purchase at:
https://www.gvam.es/tienda/alhambra/en/
You can download the official Alhambra and Generalife app (GVAM) from the Apple Store and Google Play store.
- Guided visits in an organized group
There are dozens of companies that offer the entrance ticket with a guided visit, even with the possibility of transfer from the hotel. Prizes range is 35€-50€.
If you choose this option on the Internet, we recommend looking for a company that offers clear contact data (telephone, address) in case there is any problem, preferable a company based in Granada.

Be aware that many sites are just resellers, meaning that you are not buying directly with the supplier.
- Personalized visit
The prize of this service is determined by group, not by number of people (1-30 pax).
Ticket prizes are not included. You have to buy the tickets for yourself and then hire the tour guide.
The headset service must be also paid (20€)
Prizes usually fluctuate between 160 and 200€, depending on the season. Prize may be elevated for an individual or a couple, but it is a sensible option for a group over 8-10 people. It is a matter of calculate which option is best.
In order to hire a tour guide, the easiest way is to contact the Tour Guide Association: +34 958 058 461 / info@agipgranada.com www.agipgranada.com

- I already have tickets for the Alhambra and want to join a group.
It’s complicated.
The visit to the Alhambra is established by the visit time to the Nasrid Palaces.
It’s not easy to organize a group that:
-has the entrance time to the Palaces at the same hour.
-wants to visit every single zone of the Alhambra in the same order.
-speaks the same language.
GRANADA TURISMO Y OCIO official guides group have started arranging guided visits with tourists who already have tickets.
Also you can contact any company from this list:
