How to get to the city centre, to the Alhambra and to the Albaicín and Sacromonte quarters from the bus station.

  1. Catch the bus line 33. The bus stop is located in front of the main entrance of the bus station. Bus tickets are sold directly on the bus and paid to the bus driver (1.40 EUR). Keep the bus ticket if you want to transfer lines.

  1. You will have to get off the bus at the following bus stops in order to reach the city centre.

    • “Catedral” if your destination is Gran Vía, Plaza Nueva, Albaicín or Realejo.

    • “Acera del Darro 40” if your destination is Puerta Real or Recogidas.

  1. If you want to arrive at the Alhambra, you have to get off the bus at the “Catedral” bus stop and walk to Plaza Isabel la Católica (50m / 160 ft.). There you have to go to Pavaneras street, which is on the back to the left of this square. The Alhambra mini-bus stop is located in front of Granada's college bookstore:

    • If you catch the bus line C30 you will arrive at the Ticket Office and the Generalife gardens (the bus stop is called “Generalife”). You can also get close to the Nasrid Palaces and the Alcazaba if you get off the bus at the “Palacio de Carlos V” or “Puerta de la Justicia” bus stops.

    • If you catch the bus line C35 you will arrive at the Ticket Office and the Generalife gardens (“Generalife” bus stop).

  1. If you want to arrive at the Albaicín or Sacromonte quarters you will have to get off the bus at the “Catedral” bus stop and walk 10m/30 ft. to the bus stop located by the railings of Oficios street. You can catch there the following mini-bus lines:

    • If you catch the bus line C31 you will arrive at the Albaicín quarter.
