What to do Granada Film Office

Granada Film Office

None

Granada is located in south-eastern Spain, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountain range and a short distance from the Mediterranean Sea.

You can get to Granada by road (car or bus), train, air (airports in Granada, Malaga and Madrid), and sea (landing in the port in Motril).

The old city settled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, giving rise to areas like the Albaicín, Realejo and La Alhambra Citadel. The new city expanded over the lower areas, opening onto the plains of the Vega region.

The city's scenery, monuments, tradition, uniqueness and special magic make it an ideal place for recording and filming, as well as making history documentaries.

Granada's climate, merger of cultures and rich heritage make it one of the world's most fascinating cities.

It also boasts a hotel sector with 13,699 beds.

Granada has been the set and an essential element for many films.

At the Granada Film Office, we look forward to assisting you with all the formalities required to film in Granada.

Download the application form for filming permits and register it in the e-office, not by email.

At the virtual branch of Granada´s City Council, the application form needs to be filled out, signed and submitted to the Tourism Department on the e-office
